Race has been accepted into Another Hole in the Head Film Festival in San Francisco California. It will be playing there from June 8-15. Race has also been accepted into the Winnipeg International Film festival from June 1-9. WIFF 2007 will take place downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada at the Globe Theatre and the Prairie Theatre Exchange.

We've updated our site with a new trailer. This is the longest and most complete coming attraction yet, with new footage and score. The music track was originally written for the movie but unfortunately didn't fit into the finished film. It was too good to waste however, and we're excited that it finally found a home. Enjoy.
We have also been busy putting the final touches on the film over the last couple of months but now it is complete and we are expecting our limited run of industry screener DVD’s tomorrow.
We hope to have distribution information very soon as there was strong interest at our private screening of the film in November. The high definition screening took place at the Chaplin Theatre in Hollywood with a mix of industry people, crew and family.

We’ve finally finished our retake pass on the film. We ended up with over 600 scenes that were either fixed or re-animated. We even animated two completely new scenes to replace some that had been cut in editing.
Part of the retakes process involved getting some of the original actors together for ADR and that was a very weird and fun process. It was amazing to hear the actors get right back into character after literally years away from the project. That was the weird part. The fun part was seeing all the holes in the dialog filled and to get back together with all the great people who helped bring our characters to life.
We are working on locked picture (no more changes) in the next week or so and then will continue the final post-production process for sound and color correction.
To everyone who’s visited the site (a ton of you so far) we want to thank you for taking the time. To those of you who have taken the time to write us an email again our thanks for taking interest in our homegrown project. We will be posting some more stuff soon.June 12, 2006

Production Update:
With all the animation complete, we're now deep in the process of retakes (fixes and changes) on the 1800+ scenes in the movie. So far, we're on schedule to finish this process by the end of July, just in time for our audio mix. Stay tuned for more info.

Composer Eric Allaman (www.ericallaman.com) has completed his Orchestral/Tec inspired score for the movie. Eric is a veteran composer of many features and television series and has worked with Hyper Image, Inc. on several projects in the past.
Sound Bakery’s Robert Duran (www.soundbakery.com) has been hired to sound design and mix the theatrical version of “race.” The Emmy Winning Sound Designer will also utilize his brand new Pro Tools HD stage with Digidesign D-Command Controllers to mix the 5.1 soundtrack.
