Lord Helter had a vision of galactic rule long before his decision to own a Tagmatian Star Car team.

With racers and sponsors achieving heroic status on the planets they represented, Helter understood if he could dominate the circuit, his rise to planetary leader of Tagmatia would follow swiftly.

He chose his driver, Frikes Mandalor, based on skill, ambition, and most importantly, ruthlessness.

Superior racing combined with bribery, blackmail and murder got Team Tagmatia to the Star Car 5000 Finals.

Their final obstacle was the defending champions, The X Tech Earth team, and their veteran driver, Samuel Potter.

Helter negotiated a devious deal with X Tech sponsors and Potter was sold out. His Star Car sabotaged, Potter lost control and slammed into a crowd of spectators, killing fourteen and ending his career as a racer.

The Tagmatians took their first Star Car 5000 victory and Helter began his climb up the Tagmatian political ranks.

Within a year, X Tech was the victim of a corporate takeover and was shutdown. All records were purged.

Helter focused his growing power and influence on the Star Car 5000. His team dominated the circuit. With five consecutive championships under his sponsorship, Helter's popularity on Planet Tagmatia was without rival. His nomination to High Lord went unopposed.

Now, one step remained for Lord Helter to accomplish his master plan of controlling the Jumpgates.
